I had the pleasure of working with Ano, a well-known Japanese pop singer (you may have already heard her in one of the endings for Chainsaw Man). This time, I was brought on to create lyric animation visuals that were displayed behind her during her Hall Tour 2026, for two songs. It was a particular screen format, which is why the video has such a distinctive shape: three tall LED panels side by side.
I handled the music/text animation, while the 3D background was created by japanese 3D and VJ artist Jackson Kaki.
Same setup for the song "Hone Baki", I did the text animation, and the cats visuals were provided by Ano's team.
I also created several variations to adapt the visuals for more standard screen formats, notably for use at festivals, and reworked the composition since this time, instead of a pre-designed background, the artist's live cam feed was displayed behind her.
